Customer questions and answers for GE 50W Equivalent Bright White (3000K) MR16 Flood LED Light Bulb

Question

Are these really GU 10 base lamps?

Asked by
Lil Rabbit
about 50W Equivalent Bright White (3000K) MR16 Flood LED Light Bulb on
October 20, 2012
The illustration here appears to show a lamp with a GU 5.3 base. The description indicates a GU 10 base. The two types are not interchangeable. I need GU 10 base lamps and would prefer dimmable LEDs but have not been able to find them elsewhere, so I am skeptical.

What would the price be? I'm looking at the GE MR16 7Watt Flood 5.3 pin base.
Also do you have the equivalent of this GE bulb from Phillips? A search didn't bring it up...

I appreciate your clarification of the specifications on these lamps, but then the real question is, where can I find dimmable GU-10 base LED lamps to replace the energy slurping halogen bulbs that are normally installed in, for example, these: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&R=203258695&catEntryId=203258695#BVRRWidgetID .
