For walkways we would typically recommend using Deck & Concrete Restore. If applied in an enclosed setting such as that described here, Restore can take significantly longer to dry as the product uses the sun and humidity while curing.

When purchased in store, Extreme Concrete Restore can be tinted to any of the 40 colors in the standard offering. If your desired color is not offered, the product can be custom tinted. When purchased online the product can be tinted to any of the 40 colors. It goes through the same process as it would in store, the only difference being that it is tinted and shipped to your home when purchased online.

The texture of the Extreme Concrete is a little smoother. The secret to a smoother finish is to apply the product with a brush as opposed to the roller; you will get a much smoother finish.

Asked by

June 24, 2013
Extreme Concrete Restore for Driveway is a bit less textured than the Deck & Concrete Product. If you wish to use Deck & Concrete Restore but want to achieve a smoother textured finish, a brush may be used to skim the surface of the 2nd coat. Apply the 1st coat as directed with the Restore Roller. Apply a section of the 2nd coat with the Restore Roller. While the product is still wet, lightly skim the product in the opposite direction as rolled. Use care not to remove any of the material already in place by applying too much pressure. Maintain a wet edge at all times and do not over work the product.
