I purchasaed this dishwasher a year agoa and it is not cleaning my dishes or glasses. I use the auto-dispense for detergent and always have liquid rinse dispenser filled too. I have to run the dishwasher on the pots and pan cycle all the time with the "extra heat" setting on too. I scrape plates and rinse before loading. And lately, I have had to run the dishes through twice. Even my lower rack does not get clean. This is hardly energy effecient.
I have had the GE repair man out twice since I purchased this, and he told me that there is nothing wrong with the dishwasher. He said it is my home (80+years old) and the water pressure is not good. The dishwasher does not have a fill sensor so the water fills up on a timer and does not fill up.
I am thoroughly disapointed with this product and I spent alot of money thinking that the more spent, the better the product.
I purchased about a two years ago a GE refridgerator which is so-so too. And the stove in my home is the original GE. I was brand loyal.
I did do my research as well, and agonized over the purchase for quite some time. I will not buy GE again.
