Minor assembly -- just the four legs and quality construction. I feel like it will last. Looks pretty much like wood to me -- but I didn't buy it for a "formal" setting. More country. I'll see how it lasts through the summer. It's also larger than the table I was replacing so I'm liking that. Sits on my front porch between two chairs.

This coffee maker is everything it claims to be -- and more. For the price, you simply can't beat it. I love how fast the coffee brews, it's easy to program and easy to set up. Arrived fairly quickly and in good order. Note there is a carbon filter included -- which you have to replace regularly depending upon your use and water -- you have to order those separately. I love the ergonomic handle and pour spout -- tired of coffee spilling all over the place if you tilt the pot too sharply. I'd buy another
