The Diablo/Trex 10 in. x 72 tooth composite decking miter and table saw blade is the first dedicated saw blade specifically designed for cutting composite materials. This new saw blade series has a modified triple chip tooth grind design, Perma-SHIELD non-stick coating, and specially formulated TiCo Hi-Density carbide to deliver maximum performance. In addition, all Diablo/Trex saw blades have a super thin-kerf design, which requires less cutting power, making them ideal for under powered saws at the job site.

I have to say, I was a bit skeptical that this blade would really produce a better finish. I had recently installed some trexx on my back porch using diablo blades on my miter saw and portable table saw, and it produced what I considered to be good results at the time. So how much better could it be?
I was planning on installing trexx on my front porch and decided this is a great chance to give the new blade a try. I will say I was impressed with the quality and finish this blade left on end cuts. What I thought was a good finish during my last project now looked shabby compared to the finish this blade produced.
I didn’t notice any difference in cut speed versus the non trexx blade so for me the results were the finish.
Considering the large cost investment when installing trexx, it makes a lot of sense to spend a few dollars more on a blade that is going to give you superior results. If you are planning to install ay composite decking, you will not be disappointed with this blade.

This was my first set of true impact sockets for my cordless impact.
I had been using traditional sockets on my impact when installing bolts but had a lot of issues with the socket becoming jammed on the anvil.
Once I used this set I realized the difference that a name brand name set that is specifically designed for impact versus traditional. No more broken sockets or jammed tools. This set pops on and off easily as well as no sign of becoming deformed from use. The Makita set is hardened and can withstand the pounding.
This set also included a swivel head to allow a 15 degree offset to help getting at those difficult bolts.
Overall this is a great set and certainly saved my good sockets from being destroyed with my impact. Step up to a better products, believe me, there is a difference!

This is a great looking lock set that is very easy to install.
My front entry door is fairly decorative with side lights and we wanted a more substantial lockset compared to the old school polished brass. This set fit the bill nicely. Baldwin was the brand recommended to me by the retailer of my front door. He explained Baldwin was a quality lockset and in this price range was the best value.
The instillation took under 15 minutes as my door was pre-drilled. The handles themselves have a very nice brushed finish and a protective coating to help protect it from the elements. My only issue was aligning the locking pin on the deadbolt. It took some fiddling to align everything in place, but once I figured it out it installed easily.
I have not had any experience with the smart-key feature yet but I do like the option of re-keying the lock versus replacing the whole set.
Overall this is a great product and you won’t be disappointed.

Stop the slam with this soft close adapter that quietly and smoothly closes cabinet doors. It can be adjusted by the turn of a screw to the desired closing speed and is the perfect retrofit solution. This damper is easy to mount in the upper corner of your cabinet.

I decided to try these out an alternative to swapping my kitchen cabinet hinges for much more expensive soft close hinges. First thing I can comment on is the ease of installation.
The unit itself installs in the top corner of the cabinet near the hinge. You simply mark the holes, drill a 1/8 inch pilot hole and install the provided screws. That’s it. Once you have them in place, you can adjust the plunger tension so that you achieve the desired close rate by turning an adjuster in the back of the unit.
Beside the fact that these install in far less time than swapping the hinges, the price was less than a third of what it would have cost me to swap the hinges. Not to mention the additional time to install them and make the necessary adjustments to level the door etc.
These did the trick quickly and I finally don’t hear my wife slamming the cabinet doors, well worth the price.

I installed this switch on one of my panel’s right before Hurricane sandy hit. This switch allowed me to easily assign power to the most important rooms and appliances in the house without running extension cords all over. My power was out for over two weeks and I had no issue with the switch and it performed well.
As for the instillation, the instructions were not that great and I was fortunate to have a neighbor who was an electrician help me install it. It comes with everything you need to install right out of the box, but it is a bit tricky. My suggestion is that you pay to have it installed and rest easy knowing it was done right. If you have a generator and don’t have a cutover switch like this, you are losing out on the fill capability of your generator. I powered the fridge, furnace and several rooms. If I had used cords I would have been tripping over them all the time.

Why can't this be shipped to a local Home Depot for pickup, or better yet, have it on display and available for viewing and purchase?
There are two HD's by me, only one has it on display I am guessing it has to do with space. The only good part is that shipping is free and if you don't like it you can return it right to the store for a refund. I ordered 3 of these online wih no issues.

Can I leave the saw mounted on the stand permanently for storage?
You definately can. leave a dewalt DWS780 slider on mine all the time. the good part is you can take it off to transport it or get it up a flight of stairs without killing yourself. I have owned a lot of stands and for large saws, this is my favorite. for smaller saws the dewalt DWX723 is my stand of choice.
