This Crane Cool Mist Humidifier provides additional comfort to cold symptoms, dry itchy skin, and chapped lips. The whisper quiet humidifier won't disturb sleep and operates on a low power consumption providing min. of 11 hours of moisture from a removable 0.9 gallon water tank. It includes an automatic shut off safety feature when water tank is empty.

I did a lot of research before purchasing this humidifier. Home Depot had the best price by about $10 and I knew could return it to the store with ease if needed. The first couple of nights, the humidifier seemed to stop producing mist after about 2 hours. I lifted the water reservoir and set it back down again and the mist resumed. We noticed a difference in our air and even less dry skin while using this. After a couple nights, the unit would make a loud glugging noise similar to an office water dispenser every few hours. The noise was so loud it woke me up, but it may not bother some people. The only other negative was that when carrying the reservoir to refill it, the water on the bottom would drip all the way to my sink (even turned upside down).
We ended up turning returning the unit to our local Home Depot who were helpful in refunding our money.
Other than the glugging noise (which may have been a defect on that particular unit) this was the perfect cool mist humidifier - small and stylish enough to sit on my nightstand, great control of the amount of mist and direction of mist, could run for min 10 hours.

Home Depot had great pricing and fast shipping, but this product is a lot lighter in color than it appears in the photo. It looks more like aluminum to me. The brushed chrome in the photo actually looks like the real brushed nickel finish, and the brushed nickel finish on the website actually looks more bronze to me. I tried to find Kohler brushed chrome material sample in the store, but they had none. A chart with buttons of the finishes would have been helpful in store. Home Depot was great in helping me return the product (less $6.50 processing). I ordered the brushed nickel and it looks and fits the Archer tub great.
