The 10 in. CenterFire Foam Blade cleanly slices EPS and XPS and eliminates over 95% of static foam dust. Cut rigid foam to size without making a mess. The dust free foam cutting line of CenterFire blades will keep the Snowman (and Blueman and Pinkman) away. Improved for 2015, these blades are now even more effective with a high tech ceramic coating. This coating, developed for advanced firearms and performance engines, reduces the force needed to push the blade through foam and practically eliminates foam residue and dust, making your job that much easier. If you have a lot of foam to cut and don't want to be covered in foam dust this is the way to go. Yeah the blades are a bit pricey, but you will probably never need to buy another blade to cut foam again.
The cuts are smooth and there is very little dust when cutting compared to typical saw blade. There really are not any teeth on this blade, it has what looks like knife edges. It slices more than cuts through the foam. I tried using fine and course blade and they both create a lot of static foam dust. This is much nicer and cleaner.

Cutting is easy, but on you have to be careful that the blade does not bind or it will kick. The blade comes with a strip of plastic that you use to keep a 1/8" or so gap between the blade and rip fence. The instructions recommend to not cut against the rip fence and you use the space or free feed the foam without a fence and use two people. Before using on table saw with a fence make sure the fence and blade are parallel or they diverge a small amount. If it pinches at all it will bind and kick. Read Less

The cuts are smooth and there is very little dust when cutting compared to typical circular saw blade. There really are not any teeth on this blade, it has what looks like knife edges. It slices more than cuts through the foam.
Cutting is easy, but on cutting thicker foam you have to be careful that the blade does not bind and kick. Cutting against a straight edge makes it easier than free handing it.

The ratchet is a good length and you can get good leverage. It also has a button that unlocks the socket.
The ratcheting is nice and fine so you don't need a big swing. It is not as smooth as other ratchets but that could because it is new. It does not have the same feel as higher end ratchets.
The sockets are nice that they can work on not just hex nuts, but also square, and torx heads. The walls of the sockets are not thick which is nice when working in a tight area, but that also usually mean they are weaker too.
The black finish it seems durable, it's not super smooth so you can still grip it with a little grease or oil on it. Less slippery than chrome or polished tools. This also does Read More

Milwaukee Shockwave Impact Duty driver bits are engineered to be the most durable, best fitting driver bits on the market. The optimized Shock Zone geometry is unique for each tip type to provide up to 30X longer life and absorbs 3X more torque versus other impact bits. The Precise Fit Custom Machined Tip prevents stripping and reduces wobble while the Custom Alloy 76 Steel and proprietary heat treat process maximizes resistance to wear and shock. Shockwave driver bits are built to deliver extreme durability for the most demanding applications.

The bits in this set are really nice and seem to hold up well. Impact drivers seem to abuse bits more than drills but these seem to hold up well. There is a nice variety of bits too, all the common ones you would normally run into and it also has a lot of the less common ones too which is nice.
The case is a bit of a let down, on the outside it look high quality and nicely made but on the inside not so much. Also the bit holders are a pain to use, they do not move easily there is a fair amount of flash (extra plastic left from the plastic injection molding process) on all the case parts.

Assembly is pretty easy, only a few basic hand tools are needed. A second set of hands would make is a bit easier as the main portion with the fan housing and motor is heavy and bit difficult to get out the foam packaging. The instructions are pretty clear on what fasteners to use where and the order in which to assemble.
Attaching the plastic dust bag is a little challenging, hint use some tape to hold it in place till you can secure it with the strap.

The other is that it does not run really smooth, it seems like the impeller could have been balanced better. I don't know if this is normally how dust collectors run, but the video shows the level of vibration and the how loud or quiet it is depending on how you look at it. As it has a 5 year warranty I am not to concerned, if it is a problem hopefully it will show up before the warranty run out.
This thing does have a good amount of power and suction and scfm of air that it moves is very impressive. The 4 inch hose is a restriction a 6 inch is a much better choice if you can make it work. The unit can be run on 120 VAC or 240 VAC, but it comes wired for 120 VAC and if you want to convert it to use 240 VAC the instructions on how to rewire it are included and you will need to purchase a 240 line cord. On 120 VAC it needs to be on a 20 amp circuit, it may run on a 15 amp circuit if you are close to the breaker panel and there is nothing else on the circuit. But mine would trip the 15 amp breaker either right away or after a few minutes.
The only other issue I have found is that Delta does not list which replacement plastic bags fit this unit on their website or in the manual, I suspect the ones that fit the 50-760 will but would have to contact them to be sure.
Also this thing is tall, just under 8 foot, so if you have low ceiling this may not work so well. Read Less

My mechanical pool pump timer is getting flaky is confusing at best to program.

Could i use this to turn the pump on and off?

Can it be programed to turn on and off four times a day? Ie, can it turn on for a couple of hours every 6 hours?

Is the current rating 15 amp or 20 amp? The HD web pages says 20 amp the manual says 15 amp?

is there an inrush current limit?

my pool pump is 1 hp

Great for running the RV while out on the road or for keeping essential appliances going during a power outage, the Sportsman Series 4000-Watt Dual Fuel Generator has the power and flexibility to handle the task. This generator runs on either unleaded gasoline or propane gas, so you can use whichever fuel is more easily available or affordable at the moment. With this generator, you get the long-lasting, clean-burning advantage of propane gas, plus the familiar and easy-to-find benefits of unleaded gasoline. This powerful generator can handle the needs of most contractors, homeowners and recreational activities. Equipped with four 120-volt outlets, a single 120-volt RV outlet and a 12-volt DC outlet for battery charging, this generator can also handle almost everything you need for camping or tailgating. With a 50% load, it can run for 10 hours on a full tank of gasoline and 12 hours with a full 20 lb. LP cylinder (the common gas grill type, not included). A 5 ft. propane fuel hose with a regulator is included for added convenience, and the 7 HP engine is surprisingly quiet, running at less than 69 dB.

Understanding that this has all that is needed to run on propane (LPG) can it also be run on natural gas? I would assume the pressure regulator may have to be adjusted and an orifice/jet would need to be changed.

you can use it as far as you want, but the further you move away the area that the sensor averages out is larger.

Remember when you brought those old jagged boards back to life? The WEN 12.5-inch Benchtop Thickness Planer with Granite Table repurposes rough and worn wood to give it an exceptionally smooth finish. The powerful 12-amp motor combined with our two-blade cutting system provides over 18,000 cuts per minute at a 26 feet per minute feed rate. Plane boards up to 12.5 inches wide and 6 inches thick with ease. The smooth granite table never warps and provides precise support to wood passing through the machine. Combine that with the heavy duty cast iron base for a sturdy planer that does not walk or wobble during operation. The handy depth adjustment knob varies each pass to take off anywhere from 0 to 3/32 of an inch. The fan-assisted dust port removes chips and sawdust from the workpiece and blasts them out of the way. This package also includes two high carbon steel double-edged blades (SK5) along with height-adjustable infeed and outfeed tables that limit snipe while providing extra support to your workpiece during planing. Easily mount the planer to a work surface or stand using the predrilled base holes. Repurpose old wood or make a set of boards flush with the WEN 12.5-inch Benchtop Thickness Planer. And because it’s a WEN product, the WEN Thickness Planer comes backed by a nationwide network of skilled service technicians, a helpful customer support line and a two-year warranty. Remember when your planer could handle even the hardest of woods? Remember WEN.
