I lasted 8 months without a dishwasher in the house, and realized that I'm just happier person with one! I had it unpacked, loaded, and running within 20 minutes of delivery.
I live in a tiny home, and was not at all bothered by the noise. The cycles are long, but unless my dishes get ridiculously gross, I can see using the shortest cycle every time.
Totally recommend for those who are in a situation where a built-in is just not feasible. Until I can gut and reconfigure my kitchen, this will make me a much more pleasant person!
