I like the radio, it gets great reception, the sound quality is great, the only thing I dont like is that it DOES NOT charge the batteries. The price is to much because the unit doesnt charge the battery. A remote would be nice too. I would say that if Ridgid were to improve this radio, they should make it charge the battery, make the LCD display easier to see in the sun, and make the radio a little bit louder. the unit is well built, you can definately tell it is there when you pick it up (i.e. its heavy) but that is a good thing because it takes a very steep roof to get the radio to slide because of the rubber feet. The radio has many nice features I just wish it charged the battery.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have been going in and out of home depot for like a year and couldn’t decide if I wanted to spend $500 on these tools or not. (Luckily I got mine on sale) Well I can save you some time and tell you to just get them, these are great tools with gods of power with every tool and batteries last great even in the sawzaw. The light is a plus on the impact, drill, and circular saw. The only problem I have is that my drill chuck seems to wobble a little, and I'm a woodworker and when I use the drill in my pocket hole jig, it is like a jackhammer. Other than that, the circular saw is amazing it has the power of a corded one as long as the battery is charged. The impact and drill could drive a lag bolt and washer through a 2x4. The switch on the side of the drill to change from hammer drill to regular drill is great. The light that takes a regular light bulb is genius, but they need to sell those separately because I wouldn’t mind having another one.
A++ to ridgid overall.
Yes, I recommend this product.
