We were so impressed with the usefulness and versitility of the Ryobi MultiTASKit Laser Level kit that we purchased additional ones as Christmas gifts for our six adult children, for use in their homes, and for my Swiss brother-in-law (he is Swiss and actually lives in Switzerland.) The gifts were a hit. In a thank you note that it was a really cool and that she and her husband planned a lot of use from it. My brother-in-law thinks that in addition to being useful, it is clever.
More specifically, the things we really like about it are the suction foot that allows us to attach the tool to the wall without damage to sheetrock, paint or wallpaper, the "extra hand" that the tool provides, the holder for screws, nails etc. and the fact that the different parts are interchangable on the base, so we can obtain a straight line using the laser, then put up the holder and use it to hold the parts we need to hang pictures, etc. We really appreciate the carrying case that allows us to keep everything together and the fact that batteries were included. These last two touches demonstrated a thoughtfulness on the part of Ryobi, that makes a difference. We could put the laser to use right away and then pack everything away when we were done. There was no need to make an extra trip to the store to get the things we needed to use the MultiTASKit. Thanks for a great product.
