No Smoke!,

I purchased a Char-Broil (Electric Water Smoker – Black) Model 475451203, this past weekend. However, I have a problem. I could barely get the temperature in to the “Ideal” setting for smoking. Even when I “cranked-up” the temperature to High. Also it didn’t create a lot of smoke. I smoked a Brisket for about 9 hours and it had zero smoke taste, I basically had to throw it away. The outside Temperature was about 70F. I might try adding some Lava Rocks and just put a smoker box right on the element. Perhaps this will create more smoke.
