Overall, this seems to be a great fridge for our purpose: an extra in the garage. Good size, the price was right, trusted brand name (happy to have GE over hotpoint). The crispers seem a little flimsy and don't open/close real smoothly. And, as others have said, this sucker is pretty loud. It would be annoying if it were in your living area. But, if you're looking for an extra fridge for the garage or basement, or if you are putting this where YOU won't have to listen to it (e.g., a rental), it's a good buy for the money.
