This item is an excellent value for the money (plus shipping was fast and free). I use this to warm up my patio over my outdoor hottub. It works wonderfully and uses little propane

The Ductstat Plug-In Thermostat Temperature Sensitive Switch is designed to turn on and off when it detects a change in temperature from the ambient. The temperature range is between 40 - 110 degrees Fahrenheit. This thermostat features 3 adjustable settings. It is designed to mount the duct downstream from an Inductor fan. This thermostat also helps control various devices including arms, heat lamps, dampers, fans and 110-volt lights.

This is a great way to keep that out-of-the way room cooled or warmed (along with the in-line booster fan).
