The Cadet Electric Baseboard heater utilizes convection to circulate air and provide efficient warmth. Typically installed under a window, the cool air falls from the window area as the warm air rises from the heater, causing the air to tumble gently throughout your room. The quiet operation and low cost installation make it a perfect choice for a bedroom or nursery. Rugged steel construction, with powder coated paint for a durable, premium finish. Installation is easy with a pre-punched case at 1 in. intervals, and wiring is available at either end. A thermostat is required.

I'm sticking it to the propane company by replacing the gas with energy sipping electric heaters. What's not to love about these heaters? Cadet makes a great product. Good quality, heavy duty steel, nice finish. Add a thermostat, and you have it. The propane company's $350 minimum puchase on the propane was running the tenants off. I can't get natural gas in the rural location, so I had to come up with a better way to heat. Now my propane is an emergency back up, to the little room heaters installed and running on 220v. I had to use the higher voltaqge to compensate for a 60 amp service panel. Higher voltage = less amp load. My total of 5 heaters uses less amperage than the central a/c unit.
So far, I am very pleased with it; winter 2011.
Yes, I recommend this product.
