I can understand the mixed reviews. This product is good AFTER you remove the bead of caulk to get the excess up cleanly. I imagine you can use a bunch to soften a bead of caulk, but would be a waste and tiresome. Easier to pull off the bead first.
It did a great job removing stuck on silicon caulk around my door that I couldn't scrape off after I had removed the actual bead of caulk. Wet a rag with this stuff and soaked where the caulk was. Let it sit 5 minutes and then it wiped up with a rag. Made the marble step cleaner than I'd ever seen it.

The digital controls give the unit a sleek and contemporary appearance. Its 3-speed fan gives you plenty of cooling options and the 4-way air deflection helps to evenly distribute the cool air throughout the room for a more comfortable home environment.

Why is the weight of this unit nowhere to be found? .

No weight listed on the box nor obtainable on Home Depots website under "specifications". This is an important comparison when lifting in and out of a window. I also believe it is illegal per DOT and OSHA regulations.
