The holes in the deck where the faucet goes had a slight defect in the porcelain...meaning one of the holes was not perfectly round which in turn meant the faucet would not seat properly. I used 2 washers to get a level seat.
The drain hole also wasn't perfectly round so the faucet makers instruction to use plumbers putty to seal it didn't work. I had to get a rubber washer and install that to stop the leak.
The defects were relatively minor but when you're talking about a watertight seal, they became a bigger issue. Have some washers on hand in case yo have to improvise.

The instructions were pretty easy to follow and everything worked fine right up until I attempted to attach the speed connect drain plug....the cable going through the hole in the bidet could not sit straight because it and the water connection have to occupy the same space. Short of turning the water connection 90 degrees, you can't install the plug assembly.

I purchased this item to heat a partially finished portion of my basement and it does a great job of warming the space. Besides the features of the product, I really like the ability to mount it on the wall.
