So after installing Santos Mahogany in the bedrooms, I figured it'd be nice to put this bamboo in the living and dining room. Installation was easy BUT the type of locking system wasn't as solid as the mahogany system that Home Legend has. The mahogany has a three sided locking system. This bamboo has a two sided locking system with tongue and groove on the other two sides requiring a pull bar for setting and adjusting the pieces.
That's my only gripe. Other than that, it goes in easy and looks GREAT. It's awesome for reflecting sun light and really brightening rooms. I'd buy more but I have no where else to put it. :P

Yes, this stuff is pricey but it's both a vapor barrier and padding for engineered wood floors. I've used this through my entire house (minus where I have tile of course) and I love it.
It has seams that go together easily and you can even duct tape them down for extra piece of mind. Great stuff.

I installed this wood in three bedrooms and a hallway and happen to love it. There are some things that I read here that are absolutely true (relatively easy to dent if you're an average plus-sized american, shows dust really easily, needs to be cleaned often thanks to the high gloss finish) and there are some things that I've read here that make me wonder what kind of install job people have done (crackling floors, easy scratches).
I've found it's actually quite difficult to scratch but easy to dent if you don't use area rugs under furniture.
I don't wear shoes in the house and I'm a neat freak for cleaning so I really don't expect the floor to show much wear over time. I'll post up a review in a year or two after having it to give a better review.

I bought two of these sets hoping they'd be as great as the reviews I read about it. Sure enough, they're great lamps. Yes, the bowl on the floor lamp is plastic but other than that, they're pretty great.
If you're on the fence about these lamps, get 'em and sell 'em on craig's list if you decide you hate 'em. You'll probably make money lol.
