Decasaint's Reviews

Small spaces call for smart washers, and this compact front load washer fits the bill perfectly. Plus, 10 custom cycles and five temperature settings in this high-efficiency model let you control how you wash everything from jeans to delicates. The wide door makes it easy to move large loads in and out, and you won't have to worry about the self-cleaning lint filter system. Easy-to-use controls include automatic temperature control, IntelliFill automatic water level sensor, and a delay start. And even though it fits in a smaller space, this model boasts 2.1 cu. ft. capacity. Turns out good things do come in small packages.

Washer almost as bad as Maytag "customer service".,

I purchased a model number MAH2400AWW washer on 6/21/11. When I got it home, not only did the door not open, but water exploded all over the floor when I tried to run a cycle. When I called for “customer service”, I was referred by Maytag to a third party repair shop. The first appointment was available 7/5/11. The repair man showed up over an hour late, and informed me that the washer was missing over $125 worth of parts. He put them on order and scheduled an appointment for another week later (7/12/11). I took a day off of work to be home for the appointment, but the repair company never sent anybody, nor contacted me. I had to call them the next day, where they informed me that the parts necessary were on back order, and they had no idea when they would arrive. I called Maytag “customer service” again, and was told that my only option was to wait until 7/31/11 for the part to be available, and then make another appointment for service. I told them this was unacceptable, as this would mean I had paid several hundred dollars, yet would not have a working machine for ~40 days. I requested a new machine but was denied by employees who had no interest in helping me at all. Even explaining to them that parts and labor were going to cost more than the cost of replacement did not work. Both Maytag’s products and “customer service” are terrible. Do not buy Maytag products!
No, I do not recommend this product.
