For a chain drive - very quiet.
Because it is a 1/2 HP it is a little slow - but I don't care.
I wanted an opener for a door I use 4-5 times a month and I didn't want to spend a lot for it.
This fulfills all of my requiements

Have been using deep fryer for years - very happy with results. Too many news stories of burning houses made me consider this. Very happy, cooking takes a little more time but getting ready, cool down and cleanup are minimal. Best part is getting drippings to make gravy. I've done two so far and even without any "rubs" they were very moist and tasty.

Reads to .5 lb pressure and fits on the wheels of an Explorer, a Mini, a Corvette and our bicycles. Really convenient & easy to use. Keep 1 in my wife's Mini and another in my toolbox. Now the only thing to hope for is longevity.
