We bought this because we needed a smaller microwave but we did not want to have an under powered one - we were replacing a 1200 watt appliance. This is 1100 watts and we really don't notice the difference. We don;t use it much for cooking - just reheatng,
One thing I noticed is that the little circular support under the glass rotating plate does not stay centered when you have something on one side of the plate (like a coffee cup). It has not been a problem though...
Yes, I recommend this product.
