The product states just leave on for a few mins then the caulk will come off, first off you need to try to get the liquid on the caulk, but it's super runny... good luck. Then it states just use the back of a tooth brush to scrape it up a bit... umm yeah, try using something like a screw driver or knife to get the caulk off. In some ways I think it would be better to use a knife to get it off, at least it would not smell up your house. I'm going to have to drive 10 miles away to get DAP, a much better product, it stays on (granted you have to wait 2 hours, but it smells nice and stays in place).
No, I do not recommend this product.

Eveything was great for the first 4 months of owning the door opener, we had it set up with the car's internal remote, the other two cars and the door seal, even our three year old son could use it. Then a few weeks after we could not use our remotes and maunally have to open and close. We called the genie company they said to unpulg it to reset it, well we now have to unplug it every other day, after having it for 8 months, we are looking at buying a new one. What a waste of money.
