Purchased this product a few days ago, 12 quarts, since the product does not come in the gallon size. I used the paste on the hallway and the steps. The paste gave the hallway a pleasant citrus odor.
I underestimated the powerful use of this product. I left it on overnight. The next day all of the 3-4 layers of paint was penetrated. I covered a larger area than I could have completed in one session. The next day I returned to remove the remainder of the paste on the wood. Surprisingly the paste did not harden on the wood, removing the paint was extremely easy.
Word of caution when using this product definately cover the floor, because the paste leaves a pink stain which is extremely difficult to remove from the floor.
I have used several other paint strippers before but citristrip is definately the most superior of the strippers. Citristrip makes stripping paint seem so effortless. I am so excited that I am looking around the house for pfrojects to strip.
I highly recommend this product.
