Many municipalities add chlorine to the water supply which, can damage and dry your skin and hair and may give off an unpleasant odor. Enjoy softer skin and hair, free of the drying effects of chemicals. And savor the difference in the kitchen, by cooking and brewing coffee and tea with tastier, filtered water. The system filters water at the point-of-entry to the home with zero wasted water, drainage, or chemical discharge. That means you're choosing sustainability for your home and the environment. No electricity is required to operate the system, which further reduces your ecological footprint. Our 1-Stage Whole House Water Filter systems is easy to assemble and install, so you don't need to hassle with an expensive installation process or costly long-term maintenance. With better than bottled water quality from every tap in the home you’ll save lots of money.

United Water Filters 80,000 Grains Water Softener treats hard water by using salt and ion-exchange resins to remove calcium and magnesium hardness from the water. These resins are coated in a sodium solution and when hard water comes into contact with the resin beads, the calcium and magnesium ions migrate out of the solution to the active sites on the resin and are replaced in the solution by sodium ions. Enjoy healthier, softer skin and hair when you shower, while using less soap and shampoo because of the rich lather softened water and soap produces. Fabrics last longer and whites stay whiter without the dingy gray caused by hard water. Preserves the life of all water appliances such as coffee machines, ice makers, dishwashers, water heaters and laundry equipment. Make cleaning easier and reduces housework with reduced soap curd. See cleaner and brighter silverware, glassware, mirrors, tile and plumbing fixtures. Saves money on monthly energy costs and damage to appliances.

          Hi,

I'd like to buy this water softener, but I wonder about the maintenance. Should I change the filters or other parts periodically by myself or it needed to be performed by Pelican? Where can I get the replacement parts and do it yourself maintenance guide? I'm asking this because my old water softener doesn't offer do it yourself maintenance. Parts and labors are expensive from this vendor.

          Thanks

          Phong

Hello Phong, there are no filters to replace with this system. The only maintenance is ensuring you continue to add salt pellets to the brine tank. Pelican Water does not perform maintenance, so you would need to add the salt yourself or hire a plumber to do it for you.
